As my son's 50th birthday draws near, it is almost ten years since he died. He didn't stand a chance from diagnosis but took any treatment he was offered with his usual sunny outlook on life. He was so dearly loved, not only by his family but also by so many of his friends and colleagues from all around the world. I miss him and his future with every ounce of my being.
